Lives Not Lived

Recently found my friend reading the book entitled, 'Lives on Lived' by Monika Bhatti. Both the cover and the title of the book attracted me so much that I ended up ordering it for myself.

When I started reading it, I had no idea, that I was gonna like it so much and that the meaning of 'Courage' would change for me.

A collection of twenty-seven rich stories that reflect the heart-wrenching narrative of "Women Suffering in Silence and Children Suffering in Violence". They are a painful yet necessary exploration of two groups who bear the heavy burden of societal neglect and abuse.

In our complex and often tumultuous world, there are profound injustices that persist, casting a shadow over the lives of countless women and children.

The character of Hari shows how in the face of adversity, many women display remarkable resilience by embracing and enduring challenging circumstances whereas the rebellious and limitless character of Naina defy societal boundaries and soar to new heights of empowerment at the end of the story.

Similar problems confront Haree and Naina, despite their dissimilar situations. Both of them grapple with profound challenges that, at times, threaten to shatter their sense of self-worth.
Their respective journeys create a tapestry of heartbreaking and spine-tingling narratives as they endeavor to maintain their self-esteem amidst the overwhelming tribulations they face.

Their stories serve as a testament to the indomitable human spirit, reminding us that adversity can strike anyone, and the strength to persevere, rebuild, and emerge stronger lies within the depths of our own resilience.
Their journey is heartbreaking and gives you goosebumps. Their trauma is unbearable and makes you cry and leaves you breathless. The story also reveals the reality of human relationships and the way they change their behavior.

With the help of this book, the author is giving a poignant reminder that the battle for women's rights is far from over.

She wants society to listen, empathize, and provide support and resources to empower women to break free from their suffering and live lives of dignity, fulfillment, and freedom.

The writing style is pretty engaging and picturesque. Overall a perfect blend of various emotions and worth reading.

I strongly recommend reading this compelling tale of strength, courage, and the enduring human spirit.
Within its pages lies an inspiring narrative that showcases the boundless capacity of individuals to overcome adversity and emerge stronger.

It's a captivating read that will leave you both moved and uplifted, reminding us that even in the face of life's greatest challenges, the human spirit can triumph and shine brightly.

Kudos to the Author for writing such wonderful chapters along with some interesting or I would say, relatable quotes.

I would give this book a 5 star.

Silence, a sheer experience

After so long, I found an intriguing poetry book.

Silence, a Sheer experience written by Neha Khushboo.

I think this is an experience I wish to give my mind every single day because 'Silence' binds us to the rhythm of existence, reminding us that in stillness, we gather strength to face the clamor of the world anew.

'Silence, a sheer experience' offers poetry full of inspiration, motivation, and good vibes. These poems can simply make your day delightful and optimistic.

The author has beautifully conveyed that it's in these tranquil moments, we truly hear ourselves, embracing the whispers of our soul and discovering the depths of our emotions.

There are 30 poems that you can read (each poem a day)

Quoting a few of my favorite lines from the book,
"I am witty and sarcastic,
I am outspoken and thoughtful,
I am bold and daring
Thus, I know I am beautiful"

Aren't these lines motivating for you? Or don't you think these are written for you when you read them?
Well, just like the above four lines, there are several poems in the book that you can share with your friends or dear ones to cheer them up.

Each page resonates with the power of the unsaid, leaving an indelible mark on the reader's soul.

The language used by the author is very easy to comprehend. While turning pages, you will realize that 'Silence' is not absence; it's a presence that mends, soothes, and ultimately heals the soul's most profound scars.

If you look closely, the cover of the book itself is very appealing and reflects the meaning of the word, 'Silence'.

I would gladly recommend 'Silence. a sheer experience' to the people out there. The book is quite handy also so you can carry it while going anywhere, just like I did :)

Keeping in mind all the points, I'd give this book 5 stars.

Remember: 'Silence: A Sheer Experience' is not just a book, but a journey into the stillness that speaks volumes

Contemporary Critics

Contemporary Critics is the compilation of  criticism and theories. It deals with the mini school of thoughts. The theories involved in the book basically intend to judge the piece of art and when there is judgement it also involves a lot of contradictions. For example, half of the people say that you should change the art & not follow the rules whereas half of them say the opposite of it.

Also there's a lot of literature criticism involved from both the sides America and rest of Europe, so we see theories also based on these criticisms in this book.

Theories given at the end of the book will give you an idea about when this book was written like you know the postmodern theory so this was basically done after modernism.

I  liked the orientalism philosophy very much given by Adverd Syed. It deals with the political views of the Eastern society.

The only thing I didn't like about this book is, it's cover. I believe it could have been a little better and more attractive.

On a scale of 5, I would give this book 4 stars.

Also, if you are very much into literature stuff or you are a NET aspirant, then I would advise you to purchase this book.

Well, just like this, there are several quotes in the book, which you can share with your friends or dear ones, just to cheer them up.

The language used by the author is very easy to comprehend. If you look closely, the cover of the book itself is very motivating and attractive.

I would gladly recommend this to the people out there. The book is quite handy also so you can carry it while going somewhere.

Keeping in mind all the points, I'd give this book 5 stars.

Mythological Monologues

Isn't it just so great when you find one of those books that completely drags you in, makes you fall in love with the characters, and demands that you sit on the edge of your seat for every nail-biting moment of it?

Mythological Monologues is one such book that I finished recently. I had picked up this book without even giving a second thought because I'd spent a part of my childhood listening to the epic Hindu tales of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata.

There's isn't any doubt how much I enjoyed reading this book.

With 26 outstanding epic monologues, it took me back to my childhood days. The way the author has inscribed the characters of Ramayan & Mahabharata is worth admiring.

Draupadi, Bhishma, Chritangada, Eklavya and every other character described gives a profound meaning.

Sharing a few lines from my favorite monologue, Kaikeyi

"I - Queen Kaikeyi lost everything when I let the storm of greed, the strong winds of hate enter my heart and blow away my Utopia; Burn my temple of love, leaving ashes of my sin everywhere"

The way Purba Chakraborty has penned down these monologues is just wow!

Short & Simple, these monologues guide young intellects and make them learn about their culture. Also, they engage us in the world of emotions and measures our patience and discernment of morality and sin.

Just wonderful!

The best part of this book is that the narration and language used by the author is very simple and basic which makes it easy for everyone to understand the depth of each monologue.

Definitely giving it 5 stars and looking forward to another edition too.

I wonder who would not like to read such an amazing book?

Exquisite Ecstasy

Poetry is a language that commands and cultivates the real meaning of the message being put across; when implemented correctly, it touches the soul and mind.

I enjoy reading poetry that comes from the heart, poetry that comes from the soul. Words that make me feel something.

Exquisite Ecstasy, by Mr. Chandra Shekhar Pendoti, is exactly that collection of poems, which I enjoyed reading. There are 79 wonderful poems on incredibly beautiful themes i.e. life, love, education, hope, patriotism, and many more.

Each poem gives a powerful message. Poems like, 'Life Is Only A Choice', You are Alone', 'The Pride Of India', 'No Farmer, No World', 'Plastic - Future Blaster', and several others were extremely beautiful and heart-touching.

I believe that such poems are not easy to compose because you need to feel the pain, happiness, and emotion of others, and no doubt, Mr. Pendoti has done it very well.

Mr. Chandrashekhar is a teacher by profession and it seems that he has conveyed a wonderful lesson through his every single creation. I noticed that the style of narration and language used is so simple yet impactful so that everyone can easily understand and feel the depth of the poems.

It was quite a unique compilation from any other poetry collection that I've ever read. I would highly recommend this book to those who are creative and think out of the box.

5/5 stars for this incredible collection.
