Exquisite Ecstasy

Poetry is a language that commands and cultivates the real meaning of the message being put across; when implemented correctly, it touches the soul and mind.

I enjoy reading poetry that comes from the heart, poetry that comes from the soul. Words that make me feel something.

Exquisite Ecstasy, by Mr. Chandra Shekhar Pendoti, is exactly that collection of poems, which I enjoyed reading. There are 79 wonderful poems on incredibly beautiful themes i.e. life, love, education, hope, patriotism, and many more.

Each poem gives a powerful message. Poems like, 'Life Is Only A Choice', You are Alone', 'The Pride Of India', 'No Farmer, No World', 'Plastic - Future Blaster', and several others were extremely beautiful and heart-touching.

I believe that such poems are not easy to compose because you need to feel the pain, happiness, and emotion of others, and no doubt, Mr. Pendoti has done it very well.

Mr. Chandrashekhar is a teacher by profession and it seems that he has conveyed a wonderful lesson through his every single creation. I noticed that the style of narration and language used is so simple yet impactful so that everyone can easily understand and feel the depth of the poems.

It was quite a unique compilation from any other poetry collection that I've ever read. I would highly recommend this book to those who are creative and think out of the box.

5/5 stars for this incredible collection.

Vitamin H

Ain't you thinking, what could be there in a book entitled 'Vitamin H'?
Well, with the same curiosity in my mind, I ordered this book from Amazon.

Written by Abhishek Thakkar, Vitamin H is a marvelous collection of quotes and thoughts which are very motivating and refreshing. The book contains more than 100 quotes and each quote gives a strong and deep message. While reading, I was in complete awe as every thought was touching my heart.

The author has beautifully penned down his emotions through these exquisite quotes and thoughts.

What fancied me the most about the book is that all the quotes have been placed tactfully as per the days. It seems like, the author has scripted his speculations in the forms of quotes.

The quote I liked the most was the one written on  DAY 47, " People may have been mean to you, but that's them. Those people have already written their story and it is full of thorns......."
With such significant thoughts, the author has tried to give a positive message to his readers.

The language is very easy to comprehend. No doubt, you'll be able to understand each line and it's meaning clearly.
Also, I liked the cover of the book as it is quite simple yet appealing.

Vitamins are good for physical health as they make our body strong but this Vitamin H is good for anyone's mental health.

I would surely recommend you to buy this book. Just like the medicine, you can take up one thought per day and try to implement the advice or suggestions given through them to stay motivated.

I'll give this book 5/5 stars.

The Man Who Pretends To Be Happy

As I have been reading books on Kindle these days, The Man Who Pretends To Be Happy was showing up in the suggestion box. The title attracted me so much that I started questioning myself as to what kind of a story would be there?
The only way to find the answer was to read it.
While reading I realized, what a wondrous novel it is by the author Nitin Kalal.

In this book, the author has described the journey of a protagonist, named Vivan, who is a doctor by profession but later becomes a writer by choice.
The author has beautifully portrayed the adventures of Vivan's life, his college days, and especially his relationship with Jagruti, the love of his life.

Sometimes, Just a single wrong decision or a single accident can change our life so much that we become the villain of our own stories. The same happens with the protagonist, of the story, who commits a serious mistake which becomes the biggest crime or I should say, the melancholy of his life.

But, as it is said that moving on is a law of nature, Vivan tries his best in doing so but because of his past experiences and heartbreak, his emotions are dead, and his soul doesn't allow him to move on.  Even after being a doctor, he is not able to cure himself.

The end of the story brings the real climax which almost made me cry.

What I liked the most is that the author has also given a message about the importance of mental health through some of the chapters in the novel.

The intriguing narration and the writing style of the novel was the major reason for turning pages continuously

According to the content, the cover and the title of the book is very suitable.

Overall a perfect blend of love, heartbreak, mental health, and life learning experiences.

Kudos to the author, Mr. Nitin Kalal, for penning down such an amazing novel. I loved reading it.

I would give this book, 5 on 5 stars, and would recommend it to everyone.

This book is available on Amazon in both Paperback and Kindle Edition.

Let bygones be bygones

Books have made this lockdown quite easy for me. What makes me feel glad is that I have a collection of titles in all three languages, i.e Hindi, English, and Urdu.

I have been reading Hindi and English novels quite often. Therefore, I am giving more time to Urdu titles these days so that I can get familiar with the language and try composing something in the same.

One such book I finished reading was Maza Ma Maza by author M.M Khan.

Maza Ma Maza simply means, 'let bygones be bygones', i.e to allow the unpleasant things that have happened in the past be forgotten.

This book is a collection of nazms and poetic verses that deal with different aspects of life.  The book has been divided into two sections, one is 'Nazms' and the second one entitled as 'Asha'ar'

The author has beautifully penned down about the various phases of human life and all of these have been described incredibly through Nazms and Asha'ars.

I would like to quote some lines from my favorite nazm, 'ख़ाक ऐसा जीना'

“आग़ोशे रक़ाबत में,
ज़िल्लत का जाम पीना,
ए ज़ौके ज़िंदगी,
क्या ख़ाक़ ऐसा जीना"

The best part is that these nazms and Asha'ars have been given in both Urdu and Devanagiri languages.

What I liked the most about the book is that the author has provided the meaning of all Urdu words which made it easy for me to read and understand the content of the book.

After finishing the book I found the title apt because you can not move further without forgetting your past or the obnoxious events that have taken place in your life. Therefore it is important to let bygones be bygones.

I would like to thank author MM Khan for scripting such an incredible book.

I would suggest that even if you are not an Urdu lover, give this book a try. I am sure you will relish it. I would give it a 5 star.

Dear Russell, Yours Truly

Love is Light, which enlightens those who give and receive it. Love is gravity because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is strength, because it augments the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind self-regard. Love uncovers and unveils. For love, we live and die. The deep meaning of these lines can be easily found in the book, 'Dear Russell, Yours Truly' beautifully scripted by Author Avantika Debnath.

I have always been an enthusiast of romantic novels. When I picked up this book, I had no idea, that I'm gonna like it so much and that the meaning of 'Love' would change for me.

A collection of seven romantically rich stories that are loosely initiated on a personal experience by the author, gives a robust message about love. These stories reveal how love changes our life and adds meaning to it.

"Perhaps no one will find it to be what a love story is expected to be" I loved this line, from the very first chapter of the book. All the characters are very well portrayed but I loved the characters of Avni and Raj. The plot of the stories was unique. All the human emotions like love, pain, heartbreak, etc are very well narrated by the author.
The writing style is pretty engaging and picturesque. Overall a perfect blend of various emotions and worth reading for all the youngsters and people who are fond of reading romantic genre.

Kudos to the Author for writing such wonderful short-stories. I would also like to congratulate and admire the publisher. Thanks for providing it in e format. I enjoyed reading kindle edition. Very well designed I must say. I’m fond of reading Petals Books; they have been doing great work.

Indeed Dear Russell, Yours Truly is a page-turner and deserves 5/5 stars.

After finishing the book, I realized that Relationships are some of the best things in life. They're exciting, filled with love, romance, and energy. There are also phases where things can get really difficult. But yes, Love is a reason to stay.

I wish to be a Loner

With this quarantine period going on, boredom has somewhere created dramatic effects in my life. I shared this with my friend and she suggested me to read the book entitled 'We are proud to be Loners'. I bought the kindle edition of the same, from Amazon and started reading it.

While reading, I realized that the word 'Lonely' has often been misunderstood by our society and it's just because we are so quick to judge a person by his behavior. It is not necessary that if a person is alone, he/she might be unhappy, depressed or discontent.
Being a loner make you love your own company and become your own best friend. You start looking inside yourself and discovering your points of strength and weakness, which is very important.
According to me, being alone is just another 'quality' which everyone can not hold. In reality, Loners carries such outstanding features that others would crave for them.

This book highlights various kinds of positive personality traits of a Loner through 14 different chapters. Each chapter has a unique trait which tells you what kind of a personality loners holds up and how. I am so amazed at how the author has described each aspect in detail

The language and narration used by the author are very easy to comprehend.

The best part is that at the end of each chapter, 'A piece of advice' has been given for loners which is very beneficial even for a non-loner or I should say, for any individual out there.

The cover of the book gives an impulsive message that the sun is also alone, but it still shines and so can loners. Also, the title of the book, We Are Proud To be Loners is very fitting.

As mentioned in the book, the author's purpose behind scripting these traits was to change the misconception which people have in their mind, for 'Loners' and I guess it was accomplished with the content of this book.

Grateful to the author, Sir Rudra Prasad De for scripting such an amazing book.which taught me how you can understand a person through his behavior.

I guess this is the best choice I made during this quarantine period.

I would say that this is a must-read book, which is full of morale and motivational stuff. Keeping this in mind, I am giving it 5 stars.

An Influential Spiritual Book

The other day I was searching for some spiritual books on Amazon and found this Qiyasi 'Kash-Ma-Kash', written by M.M Khan.  Renowned Indian author and journalist, Kushwant Singh has recommended this piece of work which became a major reason for me to select this book instead of any other.

'Qiyasi' is an Urdu word which means 'Discussion' and Kash-Ma-Kash means, 'Dilemma' and hence, Qiyasi Kash-Ma-Kash is a collection of 50 poems where the author has discussed the Dilemma of Life.
The Author has beautifully penned down these poems which depict different phases of life, the ups, and downs, the challenges which we encounter, the environment where we live, our relations with society and so many things which we face in our day to day life.

Quoting some of my favorite lines from this book:
"Muqeed hai Mera dil ba faiz-e-rafeeq-e-Jaan
Beqarari -e-dil ko bhala Kaise karoon bayaan"

The best part of the book is that all these poems have been given in three distinctive languages, i.e, Hindi, Urdu and Roman English which makes it accessible for everyone to read it.
To make it easy to understand, the author has also given the meaning of each word, just below the poem. This helped me in learning some Urdu words, their meaning, and their depth.

I just loved this wonderful creation by M.M Khan and would like to give this book, 5 starts.

Of course, I would suggest people out there to give this book a try. You will love it as it might change your perception towards life.

A MUST READ BOOK

Staying positive is not less than a challenge these days. But there are many ways to combat these challenges. To keep myself calm and composed even in tough situations, I  read motivational books as they stuff up my mind with peace.

Recently, I read 'Sapne Sach aur Udaan' written by Dr. Diwakar Pokhriyal and it simply reposed my mind.
Full of eleven detailed motivational chapters, which describe how we can find positivity even in the hardships of our life, the depth of our perspicacity towards others and understanding our own life, this book took me on a roller coaster ride of understanding the presence of positivity.

What I liked the most about this book is that the chapters are given in a form of conversation which made it easy for me to understand the message, the author has tried to convey.

Moreover, the language of the novel is Hindi, so that anyone can read and understand it easily.
The title of the book is so apt according to the context given inside the book. Also, the cover itself gives a message that we should fly like a bird and set our thoughts free and not lock them up inside a cage. It's a 10/10 book which you should not miss.

After finishing this, I realized that how we have engrossed ourselves in looking out the cynical side of every situation and neglecting the positivity around us. But the truth is, everything that happens with us has a positive side too.  It's just that we need to change our perception and this book helped me in doing the same.
I would prefer gifting these kinds of books to my friends or closed ones rather than any other.

Best Recommendation

I needed some guidance so that I can learn about poetry writing and therefore one of my friends recommended me to read this book titled as THERE IS A POET IN EVERYONE.

This is a very informative book from which a beginner poet can gain a hell lot of knowledge. More than fifty different forms of Poetry are there and I wonder how each form is explained in such an easy way, by the author.
I was amazed after having read the Abecedarian Poetry. What happens in this form is that each line starts with the alphabet in alphabetical order. Like, the first letter of the first line will start with A, second with B, and so on, which means that the poem will have 26 lines. Like:
"Alas, I have lost,
Brutally, from thyself,
Ceasing, to exist now,
Duped Determination....."

I was so happy after learning this form.
There are many other startling forms like Acrostic, Etheree, Free Verse, Quatrain, SESTINA, etc.

I learned more from this book than I did in any of the Creative Writing workshops.
The words are easy to follow because the language used by the poet is so straightforward and the best part is that various examples have been given to understand them in a better way.

After finishing the whole book, I realized that the title of the book is so apt. Definitely, There is a Poet in Everyone. Also, the cover of the book is really good.

This is the best book anyone could have recommended to me.

I would suggest that everyone should give this book a go, even if poetry isn't your thing, as you will learn a lot of creative things and will pleasantly be surprised.

I would rate it 5/5

A Perfect Gift

As my best friend is a bibliophile person, I decided to gift her a book on her birthday. While searching for the same, I came across this fabulous book titled as YOUTH AS NATION BUILDERS.

It’s a productive collection of forty one essays written by various authors from all over the country.
The book has been divided in two sections, where section A consist of essays on OUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS NATION and in section B , there are essays related to multiple social issues like, Environment, Women Empowerment, Education and some Cultural issues.
Some of the essays like, ‘Indian Education System and its need to be more systematic’ by Ankita Tiwari, Marriage system by Abrishan Khan and ‘Dream Big, Start Small and Act Now’ by Swarnim Agarwal enlightened my mind and I learnt a lot.

While going through the essays of this book, I found number of great ideas of bringing a positive change in the society. I also understood the importance of the role which an individual needs to play in the society.

The clear language of essays as well as the comprehend narration makes it more fruitful.

I loved the idea of how these essays have been assorted in a book. Commendable job by Lab Academia Publication.

Therefore, without any doubt I bought this for my friend and would definitely suggest you to do the same as this is a must read book for all the book lovers out there.
